- Type: fertiliser blend (soluble powder, makes a liquid feed)
- Analysis: NPK = 6 - 7 - 4 (N, P2O5, K2O); elemental 6 - 3.1 - 3.3
- Use for: liquid feed or foliar spray during vegetative growth, in living soil, coco or hydroponics
- Rate: 1.5 to 2 teaspoons per 5 litres of water, 1 to 2 times per week (living soil)
What it is
Made by Seacliff Organics in Otago. Contains: amino acids, potassium silicate, chelated trace minerals (Biomin v10), Biomin manganese, potassium sulphate, magnesium sulphate, water soluble gypsum, micronised soft rock phosphate, Tri Kelp, fulvic acid, and the microbes Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus fermentum, Lactobacillus delbrueckii, Bacillus subtilis, Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Rhodopseudomonas palustris. It contains no guano.
What it does
- Nitrogen from amino acids, a form the plant can take up as it is, for leaf and protein growth.
- Phosphorus and calcium from micronised soft rock phosphate and soluble gypsum, for root growth.
- Potassium, magnesium, sulphur and silicon from potassium sulphate, potassium silicate and magnesium sulphate.
- Fulvic acid, which keeps iron, zinc and other metals in solution for the root.
- Chelated trace elements and kelp as biostimulants, and a live microbe culture.
How to use
- Living soil: 1.5 to 2 teaspoons per 5 litres of water as a soil drench or foliar spray, or 1 to 2 cups per 200 litres, 1 to 2 times per week.
- Living soil, field rate: 2.5 to 3.5 kg per hectare.
- Hydroponics and coco: 1.5 to 2 tablespoons per 5 litres of water in every watering.
Watch out
Micronised minerals settle: stir the mix before and during use and rinse sprayer nozzles afterwards. For foliar use, spray both sides of the leaf with the lights off or out of direct sun. Start at the low rate.
