Seacliff Organics Opulent Bloom Mix
A dry bloom fertiliser for the flowering phase, high in phosphorus, calcium and potassium with magnesium and sulphur from langbeinite and gypsum. It suits heavy feeding flowering and fruiting plants grown in soil.
At a glance
- Type: fertiliser blend (dry, flowering phase)
- Analysis: NPK = 1.6 - 21.8 - 6.1 (N, P2O5, K2O); elemental 1.6 - 9.5 - 5.1 (Eurofins batch test)
- Also supplies: sulphur 3.9%, calcium 23.4%, magnesium 1.1%
- Use for: top dressing or amending soil for plants in flower
- Rate: 2 to 6 cups per 50 litres of soil, or 0.5 to 3 cups per square metre as a top dress, 1 to 3 times during flower
What it is
A dry blend made by Seacliff Organics in Otago. It contains fish bone meal, langbeinite, gypsum, potash, TM7 and BioPhos. The analysis below is a laboratory test of a production batch, not a calculation.
What it does
- Phosphorus for energy transfer and flowering, from fish bone meal and BioPhos, with a large amount of calcium from the same two inputs.
- Potassium for water regulation and flower fill, from sulphate of potash and langbeinite.
- Magnesium and sulphur from langbeinite and gypsum.
- Trace elements and humic substances from TM7.
- Low nitrogen, so it can be added in flower without pushing leaf growth.

- Potassium (K) 5.1% (6.1% as K2O)
- Sulphur (S) 3.9%
- Calcium (Ca) 23.4%
- Magnesium (Mg) 1.1%
- Sodium (Na) 0.5%
- Iron (Fe) 0.1%
- Copper (Cu) 52 ppm

How to use
- Start low and do not overdo it, especially when it is built into the soil.
- Apply 2 to 6 cups per 50 litres of soil, or 0.5 to 3 cups per square metre as a top dress.
- Best mixed with compost at 1:1 to 1:1.5, scratched into the topsoil, mulched and watered in.
- Top dress 1 to 3 times during flower.
Watch out
This is a concentrated phosphorus and calcium source. Phosphate stays where it lands, so soil that already tests high in phosphorus does not need more. Start at the low rate and top up.
