A fruit and berry fertiliser blend with nitrogen from mussel meal and amino acids, phosphorus and calcium from BioPhos, and trace elements from TM-7 and kelp. It suits fruit trees, berry canes and bushes in beds and containers.

What it is

A dry blend made by Seacliff Organics in Otago. The batch recipe is mussel meal, BioPhos, amino acid powder, Acadian kelp meal, BioAg TM-7, K-Humate and a little sulphate of potash.

What it does

• Nitrogen from mussel meal and amino acids, for leaf and shoot growth.
• Phosphorus and calcium from BioPhos, for roots, flowering and fruit.
• A modest amount of potassium, with sulphur, from sulphate of potash and kelp.
• Trace elements and humic substances from TM-7, K-Humate and the kelp.

How to use

• Incorporate into soil, or top dress through the growing season.
• Garden beds: when planting, apply half a cup per square metre of garden combined with compost. Mix thoroughly into the soil.
• Established plants: apply half a cup per square metre mixed with compost, and water in well after application.
• Pots and containers: apply half a cup per 30 cm of pot diameter. Spread evenly over the soil, avoiding the plant stem, and water in well after application.

Handling and storage
