Microbe-Pro

Microbe-Pro is a ready to use liquid blend of seven beneficial microbes: four lactic acid bacteria, Bacillus subtilis, yeast and a photosynthetic bacterium. Water it in to seed biology into soil, compost and organic fertiliser applications. No brewing needed.

What it is

A liquid culture of the same seven species as our EM Concentrate, already active and ready to dilute:

• Lactobacillus plantarum
• Lactobacillus casei
• Lactobacillus fermentum
• Lactobacillus delbrueckii
• Bacillus subtilis
• Saccharomyces cerevisiae (yeast)
• Rhodopseudomonas palustris (photosynthetic bacteria)

What it does

• Adds microbial diversity to soil, potting mixes and compost.
• Organic fertilisers and amendments only feed the plant once microbes break them down, so growers water Microbe-Pro in with fresh compost, organic fertilisers and soil amendments.
• In a compost pile it adds the organisms that drive decomposition.
• Outside the garden it is used for decomposition and odour control in waste systems.

How to use

• Add 10 mL per litre of water and water into the soil once a week.
• Apply at important growth stages, when adding fresh compost to beds, together with organic fertilisers and soil amendments, or straight onto a compost pile.

Handling and storage

• Wear gloves and eye protection, and wash hands after use.
• Once opened, keep sealed in a cool dry place.
• Remains active for 6 months after production if stored correctly.
