Tropf Blumat 8 mm to 8 mm Elbow
An 8 mm elbow connector for Tropf Blumat irrigation. It joins two lengths of 8 mm supply tube at a right angle so the line can turn a corner neatly.
At a glance
- Type: Tropf Blumat connector (8 mm elbow)
- Fits: 8 mm Blumat supply tube on both ends
- Use for: turning an 8 mm supply line round the corner of a bed, tent or bench
What it is
The 8 mm elbow is a push fit right angle connector from the Tropf Blumat range. Each end takes 8 mm Blumat supply tube.
What it does
A straight run of 8 mm tube kinks when it is bent hard round a corner, and a kink restricts flow to every cone past it. An elbow lets the supply line change direction without a bend in the tube.
How to use
- Cut the 8 mm supply tube square, push one end into each side of the elbow, and pull gently to check it is seated.
- Add a 8 mm to 3 mm T junction wherever a cone needs to branch off the supply line.
- Use support sticks to hold the 8 mm line in place.
