Seacliff Organics Liquid Aminos
Liquid Aminos is a ready to dilute amino acid liquid with 1.5% nitrogen, a fast, plant available nitrogen for the root zone, hydroponics, compost teas and foliar sprays at every stage from cuttings to flowering.
At a glance
- Type: liquid amino acid feed
- Analysis: 1.5% nitrogen
- Use for: root zone feeding, hydroponics, compost tea, foliar spray
- Rate: 120 ml per 10 litres of water, once or twice a week, in vegetative growth and flowering
What it is
Liquid Aminos is the liquid form of our amino acid nitrogen: amino acids in solution, measured out by the millilitre instead of the teaspoon. It goes through a watering can, dripper or sprayer with no mixing.
The nitrogen figure is the label figure; we do not have a laboratory test for the liquid.
What it does
- Supplies nitrogen as amino acids, a form the plant can take up and use as it is.
- In soil it is the fastest organic nitrogen there is: microbes take it within hours, so it works as a quick top up rather than a season long feed.
- Suits foliar feeding when a plant needs nitrogen faster than the soil can supply it.

How to use
- Root zone (soil; double the dose for hydroponics):
- Seedlings and cuttings: 25 ml per 10 litres of water, once or twice a week.
- Vegetative: 120 ml per 10 litres of water, once or twice a week.
- Flowering: 120 ml per 10 litres of water, once or twice a week.
- Compost tea: 150 ml per 10 litres of water at the start of the brew.
- Foliar spray, seedlings and cuttings: 25 ml per 10 litres of water, once or twice a week.
- Foliar spray, vegetative and flowering: 150 to 300 ml per 10 litres of water, once or twice a week.
Watch out
- It is a fast nitrogen. Feed little and often; soil barely holds the nitrate that follows a big dose.
- Foliar sprays go on with the lights off or in the evening, both sides of the leaf. Start at the low rate.
