Horticultural Coconut Water Powder
Coconut water powder is dried coconut water for horticultural use. A mild additive that growers dissolve in hot water and apply as a foliar spray or drench through the growing cycle.

What it is
Coconut water is the liquid inside a young coconut. This powder is that liquid dried, so it keeps on the shelf and can be measured by the teaspoon.
What it does
- Coconut water contains sugars, B vitamins and small amounts of minerals, including calcium, iron, manganese, magnesium and zinc. The amounts are small, so it is not a fertiliser and no nutrient analysis is claimed for it.
- It is mild, which is why growers use it as a regular addition to watering and foliar sprays rather than as a one off treatment.
How to use
- Dissolve 1 teaspoon of coconut water powder in hot water, then add to 5 L of water and apply to the plant as a foliar spray or drench.
- Drip system: 0.5 kg per acre (about 1.2 kg per hectare), dissolved in hot water first.
- Foliar spray, field scale: 0.25 kg per acre (about 0.6 kg per hectare).
- Mix fresh each time. Sugary solutions do not keep.
